Marietta Alboni, Countess Pepoli (née Maria Anna Marzia) (1823-1894), was an Italian opera singer. Johanna Maria (‘Jenny’) Lind (1820-1887), was also a singer, known as ‘the Swedish nightingale’; she was the wife of Otto Moritz David Goldschmidt.
