Three-quarter length portrait of a man and a woman. The woman is seated, with man standing at her side, hand on shoulder. Woman appears to be the same as that pictured in this image here. Style of brass mat indicates likely European origin.
I wonder: are they brother and sister or husband and wife? They look very much alike, seems like brother and sister at first glance. What do you think? Then there is the other image, of probably the same woman with two young girls. They might be her younger sisters?
