Photograph of Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna (1819-76) and her son Prince Sergei of Leuchtenberg (1849-77). Her son Prince Sergei of Leuchtenberg was killed in the Russo-Turkish war. The Grand Duchess looks pretty good for a 51-year-old mother-of-nine. You can read her bio on my other page here, where there is another photo of the Grand Duchess and her son Sergei, when younger.
