Quarter Plate Daguerreotype of Orville Bird Skinner and his wife Helen ~ 1850s
Pictured here is Orville Bird Skinner and his bride Helen Campbell Skinner. Research revealed that Orville handled freight for a major railroad line in Ohio. Their names are handprinted on a slip of paper behind the image and a note from a granddaughter authenticating the penmanship of her grandmother.
