Daguerreotype of Mrs. Prescott Lawrence by Southworth & Hawes, 1860s
She looks like a Raffaello painting, or one of those Renaissance Madonnas. So very serene. Is she somehow related to this Mrs. Prescott Lawrence? I love her earrings and the intricate fringed trim. She also has a very peculiar brooch.
