Sixth Plate Daguerreotype of Lucy Faye Abbott. Stamped on the mat is Marks. The dag was taken in 1849 at 18 years of age. She would die one year later in 1850. The identification is written in brown period ink. Harvey R. Marks was a photographer located at 117 Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland from 1848 to 1850. He would later relocate to Mobile, Alabama from 1855 to 1858. He was located in Houston, Texas from 1865 to 1870. He would again move to Austin, Texas from 1875 to 1902.
