Ambrotype of Young Girl with Iroquois beaded bag, ca. 1860
The style of the bag reflects the change going on in the Niagara style at this time. The ovate flowers from the earlier period have evolved into elongated leaf-like clusters and the long stems connecting the flowers have essentially disappeared.
