Southworth & Hawes 1/2 plate Daguerrotype of an unidentified woman ~ ca. 1855
A beautiful example of the padded wing coiffure, with wavy hair and a head band, partly covering the ears, exposing a pair of precious droplet earrings. She has the most graceful neckline and Mona Lisa-like smile. Everything about this young lady is graceful.
