ca. 1600 ~ Portrait of a Woman, Traditionally Identified as Mary Clopton (born Waldegrave), of Kentwell Hall, Suffolk by Robert Peake the Elder (ca. 1551–1619)

Does anyone recognize these flowers? I’m sorry to say I know very little of botany. I only recognize the rose… I wonder what the symbolic meaning of these flowers are. I also wonder if had a special meaning when women wore their ring on their thumb.
